This morningI visited a friend whom husband is suffering from third stage cancer of the left leg. His pain was diagnosed about one year ago. Prior to that, he has been complaining of pain from the lower back and pelvis area. As an active and avid street soccer player, one would'nt have crossed his mind of such a killer disease could ever occur to him. 'Fated' is what we always blame.
One morning he woke up from sleep having severe pain from the back down to the pelvis. He recalled of no fall from his soccer matches a few days earlier. This excruciating pain began to worsen day by day. He went for several sessions of massage as well seeking the expertise hands of Chinese accupunturist. All ways and means being focused on him and solely him.
Being the breadwinner for a family consisting of wife and 5 kids, I can imagine his concerns for the kids, for his financial state and his life counting the days. All I can do is just prayers for the family and comforting words, when all else fail.
That's what life is all about, always be ready to accept our fate like it or not.
